The more you look at this 1968 Chevrolet El Camino, the more you realize it's a very custom vehicle. ![]() About 4 months ago I received whats left of my dads ol 68 elcamino he past away and I guess he knew I would love owning what I remembered as a kid and how much fun we had in this car any how Now I have it and I'm going to do a total frame of rebuild even if it takes me half my life to do it the bad is the whole front end is missing as in nothing sitting in front of firewall the motors gone everything almost like some one just stripped it someone said If I could find a 68 Malibu or cheval front nose or donor car id have it so please if you or anyone hear's of a cheap donor nose let me know I'm not rich and I do have children so I'm gona do the best I can when I can I want to bring it back to exactly how he had it that thing could cook dinner on the back end man it could lay some rubber I will be looking for a 396 bb period correct even if it needs a total rebuild which is what I think I need also have the turbo 400 trans and I even have bb radiator found that behind the seat yesterday lol and other than that any suggestions I'm open to hear anything as in is it better to put poly body bushings or rubber I don't know the frame hasn't a scratch on it front to rear so I'm going to get some friends to help me lift off the back and start right at the frame with my son I can already tell its gona be a big big job but I'm up for it but anyhelp on finding a front end and I'm all ears years ago living in nh you could find stuff in junk yards now nothing and I just cant afford all new plus I think aftermarket just wont look as good as original well the long and short is anybody help or any special ideas I should do I'm all ears thanks for taking a few minutes to read this.MEAN FUEL INJECTED 350 V8 W/ UPGRADES!
